Glen Oaks golfers fifth at St. Clair

The Glen Oaks Community College men's golf team placed fifth overall at Monday's St. Clair Invitational at St. Clair Golf Club. The host team was first overall with a score of 312, followed by a tie for second between Delta and Schoolcraft (326), Glen Oaks (333) and Schoolcraft (339). 

St. Clair's Luke Maher was medalist with a round of 71. The Vikings' Flavio Hernandez and Graeme Herald tied for sixth overall with 80. Fisher Edwards carded an 84, Connor Triemstra shot an 89 and Gaven Lewis finished with 90 for Glen Oaks. Also participating for GOCC were Logan Pflug (92) and Brayden Clark (93). 

The Vikings round out the fall season Monday, Oct. 14, at the Glen Oaks Invitational at Island Hills Golf Club at 10 a.m.
