Glen Oaks Community College hired Tracy Sterling as head volleyball coach in January of 2023. Sterling comes to Glen Oaks after leading Sturgis High School’s Varsity program to a 92-62-8 record as its head coach over the past four years.

While at Sturgis, Sterling’s teams progressively made improvements over the years as her first team garnered a 12-22-2 record and in subsequent years went 18-11, 26-10-2, and 36-19-4. Her teams won both the St. Joseph County Tournament and the Bridgman Tournament in 2021 and 2022. In three of her four years at the helm, Sturgis finished runner-up in districts and in 2022, Sterling was named the Wolverine Conference Coach of the Year.
