GOCC has interim women's basketball head coaching position opening

Glen Oaks Community College is currently taking applications for an interim head women's basketball coach for the 2024-25 season. With the recent resignation of former coach Robbie Hattan, who accepted an offer to oversee the Battle Creek Pennfield varsity boys basketball program, the GOCC Athletics Department would like to fill this vacancy immediately. 

We would like to thank Hattan, who also coaches varsity football at Pennfield, for his three years of service with the Vikings and we wish him well in his new position. 

Interested candidates with experience coaching at the high school or college level may contact Glen Oaks Athletic Director Joel Mishler at jmishler255@glenoaks.edu. The opening is a great opportunity for both veteran coaches looking to continue instructing student-athletes and those still in the early stages of their coaching careers eager to gain valuable experience. 

The Vikings compete at the National Junior College Athletic Association Division II level and are part of the Michigan Community College Athletic Association.
