Bio

Terry Reynolds joined Glen Oaks Community College as the head softball coach in the winter of 2024. 

He is an Air Force veteran and retired after a long career as a pipefitter, general laborer and Superintendent of Distribution. Reynolds graduated from Vicksburg High School in 1967 and from the Pipefitter Apprenticeship School in 1985. 

Reynolds has been involved in softball since 1968, playing men's fastpitch while in the service. He has also served as an umpire and coach at the Little League, high school and junior college levels. He worked three Softball World Series and previously served as an assistant coach at Glen Oaks from 2003-04 and head coach at Kalamazoo Valley from 2005-06. While at Kalamazoo Valley, the Cougars won the MCCAA Western Conference and reached the NJCAA National Championship Tournament, finishing seventh in the country. He was named NJCAA District E Regional Coach of the Year while at KVCC. 

In 2019, he served as assistant coach at Spring Arbor University (NAIA). Reynolds also coached several high school teams, including head coach at Schoolcraft, Kalamazoo Christian, Kalamazoo Hackett Catholic Central, Paw Paw, and assistant coach at Delton-Kellogg. Three of his teams at Kalamazoo Christian reached the state semifinals and two of them finished runner-up. 

Reynolds was a six-time MHSAA District Coach of the Year, a six-time Regional Coach of the Year and his teams won 285 games over 11 seasons.
